  • The Origin of Snow (for RhymeLovingWriter)

    Angels
    From on High unseen
Dressed in raiment of purest white
    Alb and stole
Drift across a frigid night sky swinging golden censers
    From which trails out
Syllables of the Holy Spirit’s endless gifts extolled
    Disguised as snow

    So that those below
In their unworthiness might feel this blessing
    And rejoice

Absolutely beautiful Tanner. Thank you. The next snowfall I will think of this!

I think the entire poem is beautiful! Except the word unworthiness. I wish deserve undeserve would evolve out of our thinking, it robs gratitude of some grace..
