I'm glad you asked, (though truly you did not)
For the walls that give me shelter
For the lights that guide me
For eyes with which I see such grace
For sorrow that reveals the face of joy
For ears to better hear your patient voice
For telephone calls that leave me weeping
For emails that give me new hope
For a balance to my every flaw
For a love that bleeds me raw
For lines that rhyme without intention
For these words themselves, I feel obligated to mention
For hunger to live in spite of Death's constant invitation
For distance that might reveal how lovely the darkness can be
For twinkling stars that feel so familiar
For strangers that may become neighbors
For a little light that holds my hand so I won't lose my way in the night
For doubt and fear and all that lives within
For Heaven and forgiveness and your measured wit
For feet to fly far and fast from where I do not belong
For family and friends, for who else might carry me when I fall
    For you and yours
    For me and mine
For hands to hold and shape this frail thing we call Life
For these things and many countless more
That is what I am thankful for.

Hello Bison, What a beautiful roll of gratitude this is. The sincerity of it is overwhelming as is its poetry. Just keeps on rolling, over and over in gracious gratitude. Very well done, indeed. Fond regards, Tony.
