    In a moment

    caught in time

    we are fellow-travellers,

    I at the wheel, he at the elbow.

    With steady stroke in still air,

    sober suited, slow rowing Crow

    holds place till, with a fall of land,

    released he pulls away

    and I, tarmac bound,

    follow a different furrow.
