    Korean Calligraphy in Japanese Hands

    Out of uncertainty

    draw forth joy.

    Paper soft,

    in delicate kiss

    sepia loaded, the brush

dissolves wish in curl and line

    absorbing, as talisman,

    the Shamanic invocation

    for a healthy birth.

I like what this says and how it says it, Johntee. But I will admit ignorance of the meaning of the title.

It came from the TV program I was watching on Arirang (Korean Satellite TV) in which a Japanese woman having learned calligraphy in Korean characters which are different to Japanese Kanji took the artform back to Japan where a pregnant customer asked for the script to invoke good health for the unborn child, a universal wish.i

Agreed with Muttado1sb. The flow is great and 'paints' a pretty picture.
