  • Think Again

    Perception riddles and sieves
    what is sensed and saves
    each tesera piece to place
    in the mosaic of memory;
    piece by piece repeated,
    each piece tested for fit,
    fitted or rejected.All this,
    just the power of mind.
    Each thought recollected.

What lovely hope this image brings!
Your chosen verbiage to me sings!
I only wish your subject's base
was my best strength. In any case,
I will make do forgetting, then
with scribbled lists try to append
for ease of life, poor memory.
A lovely poem from you Johntee!

Thanks for your extremely well rhymed response. Mine was written on the fly, as a side-bar to the 2nd page comment (tome) I laboured over on Grant's "The stare of her toys."

I know I posted this before, but it seemed fitting:
    Objectivity
    filters through experience
    It's all relative

Isn't that the truth but the images created by the mind I believe far surpass, at least in my mind, than what I am able to put down in words. I loved this Johntee!!!

Thanks for the read. As I said to RLW this was a side bar, Before language there were only mental images but how the mind could think of them without words is hard to envisage, so it's no surprise if indescribable images rise in your mind.
