Like RLW I enjoyed the very appropriate twist which fits perfectly with the theme of upside down. Yes, run but stop to smell the roses- such a 'timely' reminder and presented with such lovely artwork. Like others, before me, I'd love to know if this is yours - Thank you.
lunar glideRhymeLovingWriterBrainwreckmooneyblack the upside down haiku is mine the artwork is not. This turned out to have more layers than even I intended. The title was a poke at my self for taking so long to write a haiku and the concept of time gave it a multi-layered appeal, I hope. The upside down haiku and the hour glass perception was inadvertent. I admit it. Funny how that happened. Tha artwork is very cool. Thank you all for engaging and your valuable comments and insights.
WOW Bobby Del Boy I love this! The haiku with or without the art is quite fetching. Is this really your first go at it? Keep at it! As far as 'inadvertent' i think when that happens, somewhere inside us, the idea was there, it just had to sneak out, maybe without our conscious knowledge!!
Suz-zen fetching is my new favorite term. "I love your fetching comment" thank you as always for your enlightening response and interpretation. Always a treat when you stop by. The upside down hour glass I dug down into my subconscious for and mined it for sure. What's awesome about haiku is we can appeal hopefully to the reader's subconscious minds and mine that gold. See my second attempt in the queue and let me know what you think.
