  • snow moon or you can't eclipse me (written on night of the Snow Moon)

    no, I won't look
you can invite your meteor to the party
you can glare at me through my window
you can ping me the night you arrive
you can pull me with gravity from my bed
you can make a border to my porch with starlight
    no, I won't look
my eyes will be closed tightly
I won't let you obscure light from my heavenly body
as once you did in this month of my birth
deep snow has only now begun to melt

Beautifully wrought bit of defensive spellcraft, Suz-zen. Brava!

Hi grant hayes and thanks! I have had my eyes closed for a time and am just awakening from a slumber. I blame the moon! thank you for reading and for the recognition of my defenses.

New meaning for "I'm not gonna lose any sleep over it/you" The moon at times, has done(to me) everything you write here. Another gem Suz-zen

Thank you Bobby... It's funny. I wanted to go outside three nights in a row. But I knew , it would have been a mistake. I reworked this piece last night ... Still avoiding the moon, but made a wish on the first star.

Hello Suz-zen, The light of the pale orb seeping through the defences of the heart via the verse of a brave warrior. Mine eyes have seen the glory of my birth and now the snow is melting in this sublime and splendid poem. Beguilingly unique, I must say. Regards, Tony.
