    Man-Eater
    By: Imrogue

    In the darkness
    she lets out roars
    as she succumbs
    to her weakness.

    Her savage thoughts
    have diminished
    like watered-down
    fire in the night.

    She lays in shame—
    Awakened by
    Crepuscular
    ray piercing through—

    Her head hangs low,
    She roams alone
    in wilderness
    as she chooses.

    Now, with new stance,
    head and chin high—
    she catapults
    the other way—

Hello imrouge, So a leopard can change her spots. Out of the sulk and the feline finds a fiercer stance, with room to purr, I hope. An unusual and beguiling poem which I have enjoyed reading. Well done imrogue. Regards, Tony.

    Stanza 1, line 2: lets
    Stanza 2, line 2: have
    Stanza 3, line 2: Awakened

Just a few grammatical tweakings necessary, imrogue.

Tight, ominous portrait of a femme fatale!

The inner struggle for self-love, lyrically told.

Anybody who works 'crepuscular' into a poem has got my attention! (Another new word for me BTW imrogue!) I like the motion of this poem - from anger, to relative calm, to shame, to new direction. Very nicely done lady! Kudos!
