  • Being There

    You want to say words
    but none seem appropriate
    so you stay silent

    And you offer peace
    A shoulder to lean against
    A hand to be held
A presence to be there when
    quiet is most comforting

    There aren’t always words
    Sometimes what’s most important
    is just being there

Thank you, imrogue! That is all it was meant to be.

Another amen from me. And sometimes, presence it so much better than words. You nailed it - softly and kindly - but on the head.

Beautiful written...Sometimes the presence doesn't need any additional words, it's suffice.

M1sb, Straightforward but eloquent. Your words flowed well and were well-rooted and branching out from the title.

Thank you, Tanner! It was a very straight-forward subject for me. I'm glad you thought it eloquent.
