A Grain of Salt

[Gotta_Smile]

A grain of salt
How can that be?
This white spot
I can barely see.

A tiny little crystal
Coined the salt of the earth
Can season or preserve
Maybe it does have some worth.

Stored in a container
Either thin, or stout
Through tiny holes
You have to shake it out.

Used as a seasoning
With pepper it is good
Those with high blood pressure
Cut back on it they should

This little white grain
Although seemingly subtle
If not used sparingly
Can cause you lots of trouble.

A grain of salt
A white spot hard to see
Will help preserve our food
From here to eternity!
