    MARLON

    Recluse
Come forward with your digital face
    Speak of your weak foundation
Still into the future you saw
    You said, you laid
    You read poetry brilliantly
    Some yours
Only idiots, like me, could wish like you, to become
    A misplaced broken jewel
    Powder, flash and flicker
    Powerful connecter
    A shadow of leaves
An elm, a star casting shadows beneath
    Character, slashed
    A wind we can trust
    Dying before you wept
Lay down the recorder, tomorrow and tomorrow
    Until yesterday, we kept
    Dusty death
Furry, time and life! Reality. Success
    Two trains becoming parallel
    Present and past
    Speaking in some other night
    Hollywood light
    I will erase
    So you shall last
    Begin
    All over again
Kiss the pavement that you will become
    Gutter and slum
    People can hide many things
But they can’t hide where they come from
You told us what tormented you
Bring me nothing of the past that can’t help me
    Help you
    Rise
    Mother’s prize
    Nature’s breath
    Sweet
    Still we sleep away
And we sweep away the power
    My boy
    Don’t worry about that
Don’t worry about becoming a man
    In some unknown hour
You say we are all actors in this great play
You are gone now but we both will stay
    Five hundred years said
If not at least one day
    I thank you
    Marlon
    For living
    And giving!!!

    Lasting but a day
As a beautiful Tahitian sun sets
    On a beautiful daughter
    Leading
    A beautiful misread God father
    Away
    From pain
    Look into a sunrise
    And fade away
    To stay
