    *"Let him rave,
    so men may
    know him mad"

    and by opposing,
    unveil that madness
    which dawns the mask
    of sober thinking.
    Lest
    some,
    in disillusioned desperation,
    harken the memory,
    of those
    contemptible seasons,
    content to rekindle
    the brittle embers
    of embittered souls,
    their blissful invocation
    rising plumes,
    the pungent wisp
    of heartache looms,
    by hyperbolic exhortations
    inspired,
    raise relics to the fore,
    and demons prod
    to sleep no more,
    but in their speech
    extoll them,
    and,
    by their deeds,
    venerate
    that which
    ought long found
    pyres to rest,
    the reprobate.

*A paraphrase of Ramses to Moses, in the movie, The Ten Commandments.

This is amazing Dwayne. To hold the thought continual throughout, with force and cohesion - just masterful. I've read several times, and will have to have a few more reads to fully absorb.

Beautiful and very strong! My favorite part (if I would have to choose one):

      content to rekindle
      the brittle embers
      of embittered souls,
      their blissful invocation
      rising plumes,
      the pungent wisp
      of heartache looms,
      by hyperbolic exhortations
      inspired,

      Thank you for this!
