    Tell me if you can
    Ramona
    Why the light today
    Clumped together
Like bales of hope waiting in a railcar
    For a voyage somewhere

    Tell me if you can
    Ramona
    Why your eyes tonight
Have corralled a herd of stars
I want to be the rustler
    Who quietly steals your dreams

Yes, yes - this is magical Tanner. Using a name makes it personal, and meaningful, and REAL.

OK, a message to this gang of 4 (Suz-zen, RLW, LG & Henry) - I draw great encouragement from you fellow poets to keep writing; and despite my cranky nature at times I must admit that
I would not be as actively engaged in the poetic process, at this point in time, without having found RhymeZone. As you might appreciate, I have been writing in isolation for the last 40+ years and only recently have come in from the cold. Your respective fires provide great warmth! I might even find time to remodel my shack.

Grant, Many thanks for your supportive comments! Your honestly in commenting upon my poems has made me a better poet (AND I KNOW IT!). I have posted some mediocre work, from time to time, which has not escaped your penetrating gaze and has been rightly sent to the woodshed for penance and reflection.

This so beautiful Tanner!! I am partial to that name as it is the name of my great grandmother. This one just pulls at my heart with longing and beauty.

AtL, I don't know where the name came from in my mind. But some of the phrases have been drifting in the brain for decades. I thought the name Ramona beautiful and mysterious, and am glad
you like the poem. As you know, I see in you a kindred spirit of deep feeling who writes with grace and elegance.
