    secret garden

In this secret garden there's you and me
Like wild flowers growing and coloring
the blank canvas of the ground, sky and sea
    Awakening to life from slumbering

Sometimes life outlives love but the
    broken
ground is ready to accept brand new dreams
That we dare to dream or leave unspoken
We can write the days with what our love means

I need you too as much as you need me
Our broken hearts will start a brand new day
These tears will color all the sunsets free
Hold my hand, together we'll find the way

HI, AG, I like the way you use the world around us as a metaphor for a clean slate in love!

Thank you very much MH. I didn't want to use spring but in a way I did as part of the secret garden that not everyone finds for a do-over in life.

Well, that's very kind of you to say, Alexandra; thank you. I was working extra shifts and then got a bad dose of the flu on top of that, so was a bit scarce.
