    enough…
    wearied plea to
    one who ushers insignificance,
    responding quick-simple;
    when smaller ebbs pilot flame (if
    everything requires contemplation),
    finer mind holds sway;

    sway… holds mind finer.
    contemplation requires everything
    if flame pilot ebbs smaller.
    when simple-quick responding
    insignificance ushers one to plea,
    wearied…enough.

    Clever and successful Reverso, RLW. Something I haven't the fortitude to attempt!

      Thanks MHenry - but it was you that inspired me to do this - after your recent posting of Day Moon!

    Seriously RLW? You gonna keep this going? At this pace?
    Me trying to understand your genius (or foolishy scraping along its surface with a dictionary) has launched my brain in overdrive!
    Left me drifting in the couch all night, totally oblivious to the break of dawn... Damn you!
    (and a 'Good Morning!' too! Thank you for yet another jewel!)

      Aw Pyro, it's not all THAT bad, is it? I'm just exercising my brain is all.

    Ornately intriguing, Rhymist, and quite enigmatic. I hope Biocide sees this; it is very much his cup of structural tea.

        Thanks AtL. This is one of the more challenging forms for me. I have a long way to go before they sound smooth to my ear.

      you are displaying an all purpose poetic routine that belongs in the Olympics. I think you could be a personal poetic trainer.

        You are kind to say so LG. Although I am very much a novice at many of the styles I've learned here. When I read some of the things I've shared I see many glaring additions/omissions. It is pretty exciting to keep trying though, because there is so much encouragement and motivation from fellow poets!
