  • A Great Friend

Not sure what this style poem is called (triangle poem?), but each successive line has one fewer syllable.

No matter what comes they will always put you first
They care for you even when you're at your worst
They never laugh at you when you're absurd
You can walk for hours without a word
Will wait when you are running late
    Always finish off your plate
    Daily waters your plants
    Listens to your rants
    A better friend
    There is not
    A dog:
    Spot

You are very skilled at working with ambitious formal features, Biocide. This piece has such a delightful twist, and looks and sounds terrific.

This is like a nonet, but it starts with more syllables - twelve to be exact. So, you might call it a dozenet!
However, your words flow smoothly from top to bottom in the shape of a funnel, B, so I would dub this a 'Funnel.'
I agree with the others that you are adept at using a form seamlessly, unforced and naturally.
This is evidence of your great talent.
