    Awaits your labours

        It's a worldview I'm trying to adopt. I've been a bit of a pessimist in the past and am trying to change. Not to imply that obligations are bad - but usually carried negative connotation more than not for me.

      obligation or opportunity. I like both! existence could feel like an obligation since we did not ask for that burden and simply endure aging for the lack of alternatives. but then again there is the pleasure and mystery of things like love and tacos and your poems...and ultimately repeating the opportunity or obligation vicariously in better versions of ourselves. obligation in the repetitiveness we cannot disobey...privillege in our wonder our light and the alertness that we are a fleeting wonder in the immortal circus of "the"...
