MEADOWS CARE
Follow me to a gentle stream
Willows bend without a knee
The hummingbird and the honey bee
Butterfly drink the Nectar free
Follow me to the meadows care
No realm of time
Mentioned here
There is no measure to age a life
No spoil, no stress, no sign of strife
There is no time in a palm of hand
No slipping of the hourglass sand
I hope to run in that endless field
A prism there to color me
I hope to see your beautiful face
In a never ending sunlit grace
I hope one day you meet me there
In that meadow quiet without a care
Hold my hand again embrace
In that never dying beautiful space
If heaven said, there be a place
Not needed to climb
No need to chase
No sorrows felt or some shame to bare
Not needed to climb
Not needn’t a stair
No sadness to tell
No need to swear
I want to lie down
In thy mothers share
Eternally free
In the meadows care
