Lovers in Space
If lovers could live forever in the celestial galaxy
Our bodies meld and blend with all the rays of color
I would revel--luxuriate in the hopes of this apogee
As all the planets and sparkling stars dance and flutter
Like colors in a prism, the light would blend and gently shimmer
Across your heavenly body glistening with sprays of color
I’d drown in your eyes where all the brilliant stars reside and glimmer
Merge, become one with you in such a way yet to be discovered
I’d lay the moon at your feet, wrap the planets around your body
there would be no limits or boundaries in this heavenly dwelling
a place where lust, and love by spatial ruptures are wholly embodied
with fearful insecurities, all inhibitions, repelling
If lovers could live forever in the celestial galaxy
Our bodies meld and blend with all the rays of color
I would revel--luxuriate in the hopes of this apogee
As all the planets and sparkling stars dance and flutter
Like colors in a prism, the light would blend and gently shimmer
