      So sorry DWAYNE but sometimes I feel we should be reminded of our history. Such a sad truth that just needs to be spoken. If there were tears, then I hope I achieved my goal. I want people to feel the words of this one.

      Thank you so much Muttado1sb I was taught at an early age that poetry can make you feel - I think that it is one of my main aims.

    the ending made me cry...and not very much time by historical measures seperates us. imo this ought to be heard by a larger community.

      I know - sadly it has not been that long ago and yet still, atrocities exist. Wish we would learn. I have posted it on my G+ page and also on my blog, I believe. It is hard to find an audience, sadly.
