    Game of Thrones: Cersei's Loss

Enceinte clouds crying tears of sorrow
Oh cruel circumstance take my life instead
Mourning with sadness for no tomorrows
all my joy and desire to live is dead

Heavy soft heart tearing itself apart
Brilliant stars shrouded in darkened pain grieve
Silvered moon from heavenly skies departs
Balmy days with sunlight cannot conceive

Can the stars render their brilliance once more
and the clouds smile with white brightness again
Will happiness again open the door
And all that has been lost somehow regained

I didn't want to ruin what's happening on Game of Thrones for those that haven't been watching it so I made this ambiguous. For those watching I think you'll be able to tell what this poem means.

Too scared to read it. I might work something out! Haven't watched the latest episode yet.

It's beautiful, AG, I am caught up on Game of Thrones, and it is ambiguous, but still a clever reader might want to wait until caught up!

Yes, I am a big fan of the show, Alexandra. Caught up with the current series in a six hour binge last weekend ☺

I must admit, I have not seen the show, so for me, the poem stands as a brilliant metaphor for life's struggles.

      Great write, as usual!
