squeezing out points,
breaking down lines

Time is a construct
measured and metered,
strictly defined,

Glory regales with
wondrous sights
of celestial heights
and ancestral story
Pity)
Pity plays all who
commiserate
instead of abate
while thinking self witty

Sorrow - emotion
wrung out like rag
and rather a drag
when greeting the morrow

Laughter a liniment,
balm for the soul
making one whole
peal from heart's rafter

honor holds value,

worthy to pursue
