  • Must we go there?

It's just a blueish hued ameba,
    rotating in and endless sea
    of brackish space.
Held in place by a hellish
ball of fire that is itself,
    an infinitely negligible sphere.
    It is infested with infinitesimally
    small organisms, that seemingly
    chose to destroy one another,
    while trying to eradicate the
    host.
I guess it'd be a cool science project,
    but must we go there?

No we mustn't but I'm glad I came here to read your poem. We'll done Graydon.

This stemmed from a conversation with my 9 year old grandson.. out of the mouths of babes as it were...

This does sound like a cool place to read about, but I wouldn't want to live there!
I like your work here, graydon, and I think you can take this further and deeper if you were so inclined.

My thanks again MHenry. I think I may expound on this in the near future...

We're already there, Graydon; and it's not all it's cracked down to be ☺
