  • 7 AM or 7 PM - Haiku (after reading a little Haas last night)

    Head deep in slumber,
    Fragment dreams jump like popcorn,
    Fancy that full moon!

You perfectly penned how fragments of dreams feel; popcorn heights, lol! And the full moon is quite the prankster and cool one indeed. Great haiku.

Oh RLW, I do appreciate your comments. So very truly! As I have shared earlier with some my fellow poets here that nom de plume came to me from an email at work... someone thought that was my name! Thank you for reading my haiku! Suzanne

The seven syllables steals the show! The two five syllable lines, no slouches themselves, fume at the affront!
Lovely haiku, Suz-zen! Working popcorn into a haiku is perhaps as bold and daring as Bazooka pink!

hahahaha! Maybe i need to go to a movie and eat some buttered popcorn today!
I tried to take to heart some of the lessons from earlier critiques of my haikus... not sure if i am improving or not. I did enjoy writing this. I tired! and it was inspired by my night! And studying famous poets...Japanese and American.

MHenry has said it all just right. I second that.
