At The Nest That Never Swayed

Treacherous storms,
unabated perils,
unguarded from thunders,
then, lightning struck!

From the nest that never swayed
the bird gone astray.
Flew far, far away
and reposed in warm shelter.

When the storm had abated...
the bird flew back
at the nest that never swayed.
The bird flapped her wings...
...and contemplated...
