But I am having a lot of fun with it. My husband wants to help build me a little podcasting corner in my office.

Happy for successful gardening on your side.
I can't remember if I mentioned I lost a few of mine? although I wasn't paying attention to the veggie info, I should have done the cilantro in containers, the heat was too much for those and the lettuce was all withered the day after I transplanted them lol
My bell peppers, tomatoes, basil, and one marigold are still going strong though

As usual, I'm having little luck with bell peppers...some of my basil is OK, but some is barely growing. I started a few plants and scattered them around to see which location might be best. Since I'm newer to the gardening scene, I experiment a lot.
The marigold starts I bought at the store have bloomed and gone, but the ones I started from seed here are large...but so far without blooms. Hopefully they will decide to get flowers one of these days too.
My cilantro is already bolting as we're having much warmer weather this week...supposed to be above 90F (32.2C)...one variety of spinach too. I cut it back and put up shade cloth, hoping to extend it's season, but we'll see.

I've got my website/podcast/video series up now.
I have strong opinions that may not be very popular when it comes to dogs, but the general topic is surrounding my favorite breed, the American Pit Bull Terrier.
It's AmericanZest .net

I'm unhappy with how easily I get distracted when recording though lol
I know I just need to keep doing it and I'll become more aware of when I'm going off topic. I tried writing out what I wanted to say, but then I lose any emotion. I start sounding like a robot. I didn't realize how difficult it is to record a podcast.

First hosta bloom of the year...feeling happy with it before we get blistering heat later in the week.

Thank goodness for this puppy and the garden. They keep me busy enough to not feel useless LOL
working from home certainly has its drawbacks. I do miss a little quiet commute to work. If we can gain momentum and keep it, I'd love to rent a little exec suite to open just two or three times a week. I don't want to totally give up my at home schedule

What a week. We ended up having to replace our AC and furnace (to the tune of $8900), and my daughter began cutting her first tooth the same day the AC went out. Big oof. But it's good to know we have new, working equipment.
And now she's working on tooth number 2. Never a dull moment with this kid!
