We've got this really cool house just outside the main town. It's secluded, we've got cardinals, and other pretty birds all around the house everyday. There are trees that wrap around the property. I am so grateful because this spot is incredibly inspiring. I just want to be outside all day and take photos, and write. My creative juices have been flowing while I've been here. The house is big enough for my husband to have his projects on one side of the house, while I have my seclusion on the other side LOL

Then we get together for dinner and hang out at night. Life is good.

We choose not to engage with the hostility that has grown, y'know? I'm incredibly political, but I am not hateful. That's a huge turn off. But anger is everywhere. I visit the local facebook groups, and there's good people there, but then ugly ones show up and people are torn a part. We just all need to get back to old forum friends :P

I have one dog. I had two, the new one got sick
The old one is 9 years old and just the best dog ever. I lost my 15 year old cat in 2018. My husband lost his 19 year old cat the following year. I lost my grandma. I was very close to her, but we still have her ranch in Mexico we can visit. Just kind of trying to condense life since i was last here. I got married the day after my birthday in 2016. We intend to adopt kids. Older kids. Maybe just one. Still need to get the deets filled out. I've changed a lot, although I feel the same. Internally, I've never changed, other than what comes with maturity. Externally, people see me as different. I used to be cripplingly shy, up until the months leading to meeting my husband. Now people I meet with again, go "Wow, you look so happy, hey you look good, your more social, etc." But I'm the same lol

I'm just thirty and a business owner and I have to be more adult-like I guess. So we want to be part of our local community and help show kindness wherever. Oh we have three cats now: Pineapple, Tortellini, and Master Bruce. Tortellini we got as a kitten, so he's the favorite.

Sounds heavenly. We too, had a move a couple years ago from town to country (back to the farmstead settled by my great-grandparents). These surroundings have inspired several pieces I've written.
