It's overcast. I wonder how long until or if it will rain. The lawn could use mowing.

Yea! I only had to mow half of the lawn this time because my husband did the other half! I like when that happens!

My manuscript for King of Keys is almost ready for submission. I'm researching publishers right now, but it doesn't like look most conventional publishers are too keen on publishing sci-fi.

I'm pretty excited. I want to start writing the next one!

Also I have lost about 13 pounds since the 29th of June. Which is also pretty rockin. I'm hoping to get back down to 235 or lower, as my annual fitness goal has been set at 220.

I don't know if you guys remember or not, but on Jan. 1st of every year I make a list of things to accomplish. I've actually crossed most of them out for this year already!

I have to get my weight down to 220 lbs, which will be a challenge because I'm growing muscle while I'm losing weight. It will level out once I get down to the low 230's, then it's just a matter of careful balance between lifting and cardio.

The last thing on my list is to complete the first draft of Lord of Locks, which is the sequel to King of Keys. I'm hoping to write two books this year. LoL and another titled Hex CORPS. I'm piddling around with both at the moment :\ Gotta get busy!

I keep busy! We should all write as often as we can. I am a firm believer that it is a great form of therapy.

At the moment I'm printing demo CDs for my band. We are going to the Modest Mouse shows in Dallas and here in Austin to pass them out. We bought a CD copier. You put your master copy in the top, blanks into the 5 drives below, and in 2 minutes you have copies. It wasn't actually that expensive either. But it is a pain writing your band name and demo title across every CD by hand :\
