It's gonna be hotter than Satan's asshole the next couple days, and my boyfriend wants to go hiking tomorrow. He's nuts.

My wife starts chemo on Monday. First of 8 rounds. Can't get that over with fast enough IMO. She is not happy about having to lose her hair. But it will double her chance of not having it return so it is worth it. You can't pull any punches when you are fighting cancer.

Show her a picture of me and say "Look. You can be bald and beautiful. Here's proof!"

No, don't do that though. I hope everything went well. I'll include her in my prayers.

It's embarrassing to go through such a lengthy application process, tell everyone you're starting a career, buy tools, etc... only to not wind up doing it. But it was a big wake up call. I actually learned something about myself that was contrary to some long-held beliefs I had.

I got accepted into an electrician's apprentice program. Worked 3 days. Realized there was no way I wanted to do it for the rest of my life. Quit.

When you're in school all you have time to do is think!

Work, work, work. I've been at this job for a month and a half now, but the past two weeks have completely kicked my butt. I'm ready for my mini vacation the 17th-20th for my cousin's wedding that I'm singing in. As sad as it sounds, I'm ready for school to start back up again, so I can reduce my hours and actually feel like I have time to think.

I got an x-ray imaging system for my lab and it is really fun to play with. Took a cool picture of my car key looking at the electronics inside of it. I have to write up a new page for my website and start selling that service.

I am back, for a moment anyway. Got a busy weekend. Coaching my daughters last soccer game of the season tomorrow morning, then taking my son camping with the boy scouts Saturday night, and then Sunday afternoon I return and play a soccer game with the other coaches and some of the parents. That should be a lot of fun. I have not played a full game for years, maybe 15 years. I will likely play goal keeper most of the time since that was my position in high school but I want to play forward for a while as well.
