The Battle for the Last Post: Mission Joystick Prayer

I have to get my weight down to 220 lbs, which will be a challenge because I'm growing muscle while I'm losing weight. It will level out once I get down to the low 230's, then it's just a matter of careful balance between lifting and cardio.

The last thing on my list is to complete the first draft of Lord of Locks, which is the sequel to King of Keys. I'm hoping to write two books this year. LoL and another titled Hex CORPS. I'm piddling around with both at the moment :\ Gotta get busy!

Also I have lost about 13 pounds since the 29th of June. Which is also pretty rockin. I'm hoping to get back down to 235 or lower, as my annual fitness goal has been set at 220.

I don't know if you guys remember or not, but on Jan. 1st of every year I make a list of things to accomplish. I've actually crossed most of them out for this year already!

My manuscript for King of Keys is almost ready for submission. I'm researching publishers right now, but it doesn't like look most conventional publishers are too keen on publishing sci-fi.

I'm pretty excited. I want to start writing the next one!

Yea! I only had to mow half of the lawn this time because my husband did the other half! I like when that happens!

It's overcast. I wonder how long until or if it will rain. The lawn could use mowing.

I worked during the day, then I went home and sat on my butt. Didn't really watch any fireworks but I could certainly hear them.

Just popping in to say hi! Thanks for the support CC. My wife is hanging in there. 2 rounds of chemo down, 6 more to go. She shaved her hair last Friday. That was not easy but she faced it head on and I am proud of her. Sure it will get harder but it is good to have 25% done.
